Our skills coaches, Owen Amon and Brandon Fain are former players who grew up playing hockey with our Kenosha Komets family and have gone on to play college hockey. They want to give something back to the hockey community by sharing their skills and experience with the next generation of our Komets kids.

Program
The camp will provide 12U-14U players an opportunity to focus on honing their competitive hockey skills by offering options to select between offense only sessions, defense only session, or both by taking both courses.
Their goal is to help each player improve their personal skills as well as positional skills. Improve skating and take your game to the next level and most importantly have fun while doing it.
Offense Camp:
- skating

Defense Camp:
- body positioning
- backwards skating
- shot blocking
- shooting
- injury prevention
Each course will be 90 minutes long and end with a 30-minute scrimmage as both courses overlap. If you choose to register for both courses, there will be a 10% discount at registration.
When
Day: Tuesdays
Dates: June 17 - August 5 (No camp the week of July 4th)
Time:
Offense Session:
7:10 p.m. - 8:40 p.m.
Defense Session:
8:10 p.m. - 9:40 p.m.
Scrimmage overlap for 30 minutes between the two sessions each week.
Fees
You have three options to choose from:
Offense Only: $150
Defense Only: $150
Both Offense and Defense: $270
Where
All sessions will be held at the home of the Kenosha Komets, the Kenosha Ice Arena.
We are located at 7727-60th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53142.
All Kenosha Komets youth hockey programs require players to have a USA Hockey number. The membership provides training to coaches and referees, funds to the state governing body (WAHA), and most importantly, your USA Hockey membership provides insurance for each participating skater.
