Antioch 4th of July Parade - Friday, July 4
The 4th of July parade will kickoff at 10:00 am in Antioch, IL. This parade is part of a larger 4th of July celebration that includes festivities at Sequoit Creek Park from 4:00 pm until fireworks at dusk.

The Komets decorates a float to celebrate the 4th of July as well as promote our hockey club to current, and prospective, families in the area. We have many kids in our club from Antioch and the surrounding communities, and we hope our Komets family will come out in force to support our club by helping to decorate our float and then walk in the parade. We generally pass out treats to the spectators along the route.
Decorate Float: Decorate the Kenosha Komets float the morning of the parade. We will gather at 9:00 am at the Antioch Community High School, 1133 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002.
Line Up to Walk in Parade: Can’t help decorate? You can still come out and show your Komets pride! Wear your Komets gear! Wear red and black! Kids and adults can wear roller blades or walk along side the float. Strollers and carts are welcome (decorate them with Komets colors!). We will be providing treats to hand out to spectators along the parade route.
Wear your Komets swag! Don your roller blades! Decorate your strollers in Komets colors! Komets families will earn one volunteer credit hour by participating in the fun!
